SSA was hired to develop a sports facility masterplan for the lower campus of Santa Cruz High School, and a phasing plan to implement the track and football / soccer field. The program included a new synthetic turf field, 400m all-weather running track, shot put and discus events, long jump / triple jump runways, and high jump events. SSA completed the project under budget and ahead of schedule, leading a team of consultants including the civil engineer, structural engineer, electrical engineer, geotechnical engineer, and surveyor. SSA was also responsible for garnering Division of the State Architect approval. The project scope of work included master planning, design development, construction documentation, cost estimating, and construction administration.
