This residence is situated atop a coastal bluff, with sweeping views of the Pacific Ocean. SSA collaborated with Steven Ehrlich Architects to create this modern, elegant landscape. A unique palette of drought tolerant succulents and grasses were used to provide color and texture and to complement the modern architecture of the home. Five 45 year old olive trees were imported to provide a sculptural element, provide screening, and soften the long, burnished block pool wall. The owners like to play pentanque, and strategically placed the court in the front yard in order to welcome neighbors to join in.
